The sizes of the high-visibility vest for children are as follows:
- S for dress size 92-104
- M for dress size 110-122
- L for dress size 128-146
If your child is between two sizes, you can choose the larger size. The size suggestions already take into account that children often wear thick winter jackets in autumn and winter!
About me
While driving through the busy streets of Hamburg on a foggy October day, I realized how invisible children can be in traffic. This thought stuck with me and so the plan was born to improve the safety of our youngest road users.
When I looked for solutions at home, I couldn't find anything that met my needs. So I decided to develop a prototype myself with the help of a seamstress, thorough research and a lot of trial and error.
The first successes
When I looked for solutions at home, I couldn't find anything that met my needs. So I decided to develop a prototype myself with the help of a seamstress, thorough research and a lot of trial and error.
With my first series of children's vests in my luggage, I ventured to local Christmas markets. The positive feedback and support from parents was overwhelming and encouraged me to continue pursuing my idea. During my parental leave, this idea transformed into a concrete project. I founded heyReflect in my adopted home of Hamburg with all my heart and a lot of courage.
Today heyReflect is synonymous with first-class products that make our customers more visible and safer. As a founder, I pursue ambitious goals and strive to turn this start-up into a sustainably successful company. My ultimate goal is to ensure that all of our customers, big and small, come home safely every day.
So, stay visible and take care of yourself!
The first warning vest with LEDs for children
Visible from 360°
The bright LEDs of the children's safety vest make the wearer of the products visible to other road users from up to 400 m. This is 3x earlier than conventional high-visibility vests. Unlike conventional reflector vests, this can also be seen when it is not directly in a cone of light, e.g. that of a car headlight.
